Q. Will my device fit in the TabletHookz v3.0 ? - e.g. my Ipad Pro 12.9 ?

A. TabletHookz v3.0 will fit a wide variety of devices including the iPad Pro 12.9, we have even tested 16" screen devices and they fit no problem. So something as small as an iPhone right the way through to the biggest tablet available on the market can be held by TabletHookz v3.0. Airline cabins are always being upgraded to look good and this can mean changes to cabin seats and trays, version 2 was introduced due to this. Following customer feedback about airline trays getting thicker (for example when they fold in half) we have made the foam padding removable, it is now velcro backed, we have also included 2 different size pads with version 3.0 so you can keep your tablethookz as snuggly fitted as possible to the trays

Very wide trays - if you find that you try and mount your TabletHookz on a new airline tray and the tray is too thick we recommend gently removing the little foam pad on the inside of the hook, version 3 made this Velcro backed so it’s a lot easier now, you can also try the smaller sized padding if its too lose with the black thicker padding removed. (this is there to create a snug fit on narrow trays). You can re-attach the sticky foam pad after your journey for the next flight that may have a standard, narrow / thin tray.

Q. Do I have to take my device out of it's protective case to use TabletHookz v3.0 ?

A. No, TabletHookz have been designed so they can hold your device either in or out of it's protective case . [Back to list]

Q. Can I take my iPad/Tablet/Phone in the aircraft cabin to watch my films or other content?

A. Yes - you can take your device into the airline cabin on most flights, there was a tiny selection of flights from some countries back in 2017 which do not permit this, but this has now been lifted, refer to the links below . [Back to list]

A. We have it in writing from different regulators that our product does not require regulator approval . [Back to list]

Q. What is the difference between Version 3.0 of TabletHookz and the original version ?

A. Version 3.0 features the following:

Taking the v2.0 design and enhancing it based on customer feedback.

  • Wider hook depth section to fit more airlines with newer wider seatback trays
  • Thinner hook mounting to fit some of the narrow gaps between tray and seat on some airlines.
  • New stronger material to maintain original strength in the thinner areas.
  • Addition of velcro fitted padding for the hookz so you can change the width you want, thicker pads for narrow trays, thinner pads for wider trays or simply remove the pads for really thick trays

Q. How long will delivery take ?

A. All orders received before 3pm are shipped the same working day. We send items via Royal Mail, this means delivery normally takes:

United Kingdom: 1-2 working days from date of order depending on service selected,

Europe: 3-7 working days

Rest of the World: Aim 10 days (Royal Mail advise some countries may take longer - see Royal Mail Website for more details)

There may be the odd occasion where dispatch may take slightly longer if we have a large surge of sales but we do our best to get them out as quickly as possible.[Back to list]

Q. Do you offer express shipping ?

A. We don't offer an express service as the cost is astronomical, but selecting tracked shipping (at extra charge) we have found items arrive quicker than standard shipping.[Back to list]

Q. My TabletHookz v3.0 have not arrived, what do I do ?

A. Please contact us via support@tabletHookz.com with your order reference and delivery address, However please note that we will not be able to do anything until the maximum allowable time for delivery on the Royal Mail Website has been exceeded. .[Back to list]

Q. How do I attach the car adapters to my TabletHookz v3.0 ?

A. Please see this video which shows how to attach the car adapters. With Version 3.0 ensure you have the black thicker padding attached to the hoo to keep a good snug fit between the tabletHookz bracket and the car adapter.[Back to list]

Q. How do I mount the TabletHookz v3.0 in the car ?

Q. Why is shipping so expensive to some locations or for my quantity ?

A. We don't make profit on shipping and our costs are based on Royal Mail prices and our packaging. Some international destinations are more expensive than others. You may find that for example if your order is over £250 the next insured level is £500, in this scenario you may find that creating two orders for a lower cart value will result in a cheaper overall shipping cost. Q. Will TabletHookz v3.0 fit on the airline I am travelling with ?

A. We're confident they will fit short and medium haul carriers, but we haven't tried them on every single airline in the world (as much as we'd like to) ! We've tested them on as many airlines as we can and our design caters for varying different seats used by different airlines.

Like the furniture in your home, airlines update their cabins from time to time with a new fit which may not have been tested with TabletHookz. For your peace of mind, if you order from us here at TabletHookz.com and for some reason you find that your TabletHookz v3.0 don't fit on a specific airline we simply ask that you take a photo and send it to us at support@tablethookz.com, let us know the airline and why it wouldn't fit and we'll arrange for you to return your TabletHookz v3.0 and refund you. Q. I'm trying to buy TabletHookz v3.0 but my card is being declined, what can I do ?

A. All orders are processed by a company called shopify, who verify details via the MasterCard/visa official network, if a payment method fails we can only ask that you try an alternate card or payment method please e.g. paypal or apple pay. [Back to list]

Q. Why have you contacted me asking me to provide proof of my Identification and verify my address ?

A. All of our payments are processed by a company called shopify.com (both credit card and paypal payments). Shopify systems check all transactions to verify the characteristics of transactions to ensure they are not fraudulent. Occasionally we receive notification from Shopify that a transaction may carry some characteristics similar to fraudulent transactions. When we receive such a notification we will ask you to provide further information to verify your identity before processing your order.
